THIS ALBUM CONTAINS REALLY GOOD DEMO VERSIONS OF PREVIOUSLY RELEASED SONGS. PLUS A COUPLE THINGS NOBODY HEARD BEFORE.

A few of our contrarian asshole friends have told me that they preferred these versions to the proper "studio" takes. Fine, have at it, jerks. These early versions DO kick ass.

We put a few of these versions on a CDR which we called the "Dial Tone" EP in 2008 so we'd have something extra on the merch table. I think we made 30 copies. Anyway, I dug those demos out of an old hard drive, along with the rest of that initial demo session, plus demo session from '09, and a thing or 2 from our misadventures post "Dog Years".

They were never mastered. So I sent this stuff to Scott Miller at Ancient Temple Recording and he mastered it all for us. Thanks, Scott.

"Cell Press" really grabbed me with dissonant noise sludge, sharp riffs and hyper intense vocals. The recording is well done - sounds like you are in the room with them. I also am a huge fan of the 12 minute CAN inspired freak-out closing track. Takes some guts to follow that vision through fully. Cheers to warren barton for the heads up on this one! bcb723
